Causes of Juvenile Delinquent

The cause of juvenile delinquent may be classified under two major factors

A) Social Factors

  1.  Broken Homes.
  2. Poverty.
  3. Delinquency Area.
  4. Companions and Gangs.
  5. Beggary.

B) Personal Factors

  1. Mental Deficiency in Delinquency.
  2.  Emotional problems of the individual.

C) Other Social or Environmental Factors

  1. School dissatisfaction.
  2. Films and pornographic literature.
  3. Deep-seated inner desires.

Remedies for Juvenile Delinquency

Two methods have been suggested deal with this problem

B) Methods of Rehabilitation
